2013 Christmas Card

I like simple Christmas Cards that can be replicated easily. This one is on heavy weight cream card stock with gold glitter card stock from SU cut with Memory Box Star dies. The strip on the side is gold card stock and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread.

The messages on the outside/inside was stamped and embossed with Judikins Gold Detail powder. A My Sentiments Exactly stamp with the following was used on the inside of the card:

Happy 100th Birthday

My friend's mother is turning 100 on Feb 1 and the whole family is coming in for the celebration. I offered to make large card so everyone could sign it while they are in town. The card is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 and fits into a 6x9 envelope.

White Christmas

Thanksgiving 2013

The idea for this card came from an example card at my local paper store (Collage in Oak Harbor WA) . The orange background paper feels like suede. The punch for the leaves is MS Branch. The punched card stock had to be thin ; thicker card stock was too hard to punch.

Stamped with a wooden block stamp from Stamps Happen called Dragonfly Happiness colored with Tim Holtz Markers. Twinkling H2O's were applied for gloss. The gold strips are from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The sentiment is from Uniko Studios Flower Power #2.

The circle is an Elizabeth Craft Designs sticker on double sided sticky paper with clear micro glitter applied and colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Wordsworth Remembering by Rubber Soul Stamps. Card stock is Gina K Designs.

The same stamp was colored with Pan Pastels, sentiment from Stamps of Life and bling from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Gold Twinkling H2O was applied to leaves and dragonfly.
